An excellent opportunity to start a career in finance within a fast paced company. You will be trained to reconcile the group’s bank accounts, accurately posting all payments and receipts to the relevant receivable and payable ledgers.
A normal day would include:
Perform daily/weekly/fortnightly bank reconciliations, ensuring that receipts and payments are accurately posted within the accounting system
Prepare reconciliations for certain income statement and balance sheet accounts
Support the tax and treasury manager in the cash forecasting and reporting process
Prepare compliance certificates and surveys
Provide support to other members of the finance team

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.
You will be assigned a line manager at NCC Group who will assist with your skills training and pastoral matters. You will also be assigned a buddy not related to finance who will be there to support with professional training and any other areas.
What will happen next:
New applicants to The Growth Company who meet any basic entry requirements of the role will be contacted within two working days to discuss your application and arrange a telephone interview with The Growth Company. If successful, you will then be required to attend an interview with NCC Group.
What you should have to apply
A-level business studies, economics or accounting
GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in maths and English
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong work ethic
A ‘can do’ attitude
Eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges
Generate and maintain solid working relationships with customers and colleagues
Experience working in an office environment would be useful but not essential
Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
