About this opportunity

This is a great opportunity to start a career in education with Jasiel Study Club. You will work collaboratively with all staff and parents in order to support student wellbeing and to promote the five outcomes of Every Child Matters.

A normal day would include:
• Maintaining good relationships with colleagues and work together as a team
• Assisting in the supervision of classroom activities
• Contributing to the overall ethos/work/aims of Jasiel Study Club
• Being aware of and supporting difference and ensure all pupils have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop
• Providing curricular clerical/admin support, e.g. photocopying, admin duties
• Under the direction of the teacher, preparing the classroom for lessons and clear afterwards, including display work as appropriate
• Undertaking pupil record keeping as requested (e.g. provide a written statement on pupil progress to the teacher)
• Establishing good relationships with pupils
• Being aware of and comply with child protection procedures, health and safety, security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting any concerns to the relevant member of staff.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
