About this opportunity
A unique opportunity has arisen for an estimating apprentice to work for one of the country’s most innovative and pioneering scaffolding firms. Based from their head office in Blackrod you will report into the senior estimator.
A normal day would include:
• Reporting to the senior estimator
• Attending site visits for pre-work checks to measure up and take photographs
• Researching and printing out planned views of buildings
• Working on tender documents and pricing up jobs
• Helping to identify labour requirements, materials and timescales of planned works
This role will also involve travelling around various site across Greater Manchester and Lancashire so having access to a car or at least a driving licence would be advantageous. This opportunity will be perfect for someone wanting to start a professional career within the construction sector and travel to different construction sites across Greater Manchester.
Network Scaffolding are one of the most innovative and pioneering scaffolding companies in the country, who strive on providing the highest of standards.
You will be fully trained up on the employer’s internal software systems and also attend college one day per week where you will do a level 3 BTEC diploma in construction and the built environment and an NVQ level 3 in site technical support.

You can progress onto gaining a HNC in construction.
