About this opportunity
Lockton is the largest global independently owned insurance broker in the world, deal with both retail and wholesale clients. You will be responsible for both scheme and delegated authority business,specifically involved in the compilation of quote.
A normal day would include:
• Taking responsibility for both scheme and delegated authority business, specifically involved in the compilation of quote packs, invoices and document production
• Screening incoming calls for the team
• Going forward, the role will also evolve to incorporate dealing with slips and Xchanging

• Apprentices are on the programme for 18 months and are supported through CERT completion
• The programme includes 13 days of classroom training and external mentor/coach support

What you should have to apply
Minimum 2 A-Levels grade C and above or equivalent
Personal Qualities
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates
Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality
Analytical and problem solving skills, including research and investigation
Skills
Ability to identify opportunities for business development
Knowledge of the resources available within Lockton and how to source such services
Willingness and ability to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internal and external to the company
A thorough knowledge of the computer desktop software provided by Lockton
A working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software applications
