About this opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support the legal team with the administrative duties in an office environment. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our firm and will have an extremely busy and varied role.
A normal day would include:
•Opening claims on the office case management system/conducting initial enquiries
•Sorting, scanning and franking of mail
•Sending letters and emails to key stakeholders related to client files
•Data entry onto our case management system
•Reception duties, including answering telephones in a polite and professional manner
•Administration support, such as typing, faxing, photocopying
•Ensuring meeting rooms are prepared
•General filing duties (correspondence to files and files to cabinets) •Completing checklists on a daily / weekly basis as instructed
•Other ad hoc duties as required
What you could go on to do:
The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn directly from the Principal Solicitor and if suited will be progressed with the firm to take on more training related to case working / handling as a paralegal.

What you should have to apply
GCSE Maths and English A-C.
Have a ‘can do’ attitude and use own initiative
Excellent written, oral communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent written English grammar, written and oral required.
Good time management and organisational skills
Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages and IT skills
Good interpersonal skills with professional clients
Attention to detail
Excellent telephone manner
