A normal day will differ from role to role, but typically will include:
• Ensuring data record integrity and assisting in creating and maintaining record files for commission rate splits and payment records
• Handling incoming client requests - both internal and external requests
• Managing the on-boarding of new commission management client records
• Contributing to client analysis to optimise client profitability as well as producing presentation packs
• There will be additional projects to get involved in which will be driven by the ongoing requirements of MiFIDII.

As the industry adapts to the new regulatory regime, there will be project work required to evolve the client offering and to work with technology.

Your team – EMEA Equities Commission Management:
You’ll be working within the EMEA Equities Commission Management team of UBS Investment Bank. You'll join a team who are directly involved in managing and unbundling commissions for the cash equities business in a new regulatory regime called MiFIDII. Through tackling new challenges every day, you will shape your future. As one of the first banks that hire front office apprentices this role is a unique opportunity to explore our investment bank, meaningfully contribute and lead change.

Your career development and professional qualifications don’t stop after the apprenticeship. Focused and determined individuals will be able to attain further qualifications - equivalent to a degree – and when your training is complete, you will take on the role of EMEA Equities Commission Management Desk Analyst with the opportunity to assume ownership for selected projects and tasks in a second phase.

What you should have to apply

- B/Level 6 Grades in GCSE maths and English language
- A-levels required: BCC or equivalent (104 UCAS Points)
