Lovair Ltd are offering this exciting opportunity for you to be trained in all production areas. The role is ideal for anyone wanting to develop joinery skills in the manufacturing process.
A normal day would include
• Using machinery including cutting, sawing, sanding, drilling, molding and pressing equipment
• Using thermo forming machines
• Using adhesives
• Carrying out inspection and testing activities
• Working as part of a team to fulfil targets, according to production schedules and order deadlines
• Testing multiple products that the company produces
The successful candidate will be working in a LEAN environment – training for this will be provided throughout the apprenticeship. LEAN is a tool which helps teams work in a more clean and efficient manner.

The successful candidate will have achieved GCSE grade C/4 or above in maths and English or equivalent
Able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the role
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
Positive, adaptable and have a flexible attitude to work and personal development
Dependable, demonstrating reliability and good timekeeping
A presentable person with a desire to learn new skills
Joinery skills would be an advantage
Good maths ability for measuring materials
Ability to work in a logical, organised manner
Ability to work safely using tools and equipment
Ability to perform assembly work in an accurate, timely manner
Ability to work effectively, efficiently and safely to schedules and deadlines
Working closely with existing highly trained staff to learn and develop your skills and gain knowledge of machine cutting operations, Edging, spraying and laminating across the manufacturing processes.
