An Engineering based role, learning to become a uniquely skilled Engineer gaining extensive practical and theoretical technical knowledge across the complete range of commercial and manufacturing engineering processes for all company products.
A normal day would include
The role is to provide technical support to commercial and manufacturing activities across the site. Developing working knowledge of all site technical processes and systems.
The role has significant office based elements, but will involve close liaison with shop floor manufacturing and customers. Initial training will be in all areas of the business to give you an all round capability and knowledge of how the business works.
Learning to produce Engineering Drawings using the CAD system.
Develop your skills to understand and interpret a wide range of technical specifications and drawings. This will lead to you becoming competent in the production of technical drawings and documentation for shop floor manufacture and customer quotations and approval.
Your aim will be to become fully competent to provide Technical Support for any site or customer support requests as a full member of the Technical Team
Working correctly at all times to the company Environmental, ISO quality and H&S procedures.
Producing and maintaining accurate records in accordance with role requirements.
Demonstrating continual commitment to develop your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship.

The successful candidate will have achieved GCSE minimum Grade C in Maths, English and Science. Good I.T. skills with GCSE Grade C or equivalent level of achievement is also required. Knowledge and Experience of CAD Packages would be an advantage.
